Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases, quotes, orders, and services provided by Sew Awesome (“Sew Awesome,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including purchases made through sew-awesome.com. By placing or approving an order with Sew Awesome, you agree to these Terms.
1. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance by Sew Awesome.
Customers are responsible for reviewing order information carefully before approving an order, including:
- Product
- Color
- Size
- Quantity
- Artwork
- Logo
- Spelling
- Names and numbers
- Placement
- Decoration method
- Shipping information
Once production has begun, an order generally cannot be changed or canceled.
2. Custom and Personalized Merchandise
Many Sew Awesome products are produced specifically for an individual customer, company, school, team, organization, or event.
Because customized merchandise cannot ordinarily be resold, customized, decorated, embroidered, printed, monogrammed, or personalized merchandise is not returnable or refundable unless Sew Awesome made an error or the product is defective.
This includes merchandise containing custom:
- Logos
- Names
- Initials
- Numbers
- Artwork
- Embroidery
- Printing
- Personalization
3. Artwork and Proof Approval
When Sew Awesome provides a proof or mockup for approval, the customer is responsible for carefully reviewing it before approving production.
Approval constitutes acceptance of the artwork, spelling, layout, design, placement, and other details represented by the proof.
Sew Awesome is not responsible for an error appearing in the finished product when that same error appeared in a proof approved by the customer.
4. Colors and Product Appearance
Colors displayed on computer monitors, phones, tablets, printed proofs, or digital artwork may vary from the actual color of garments, thread, ink, transfers, or other materials.
Reasonable variations in color, placement, dimensions, garment construction, and manufacturing are not considered defects.
5. Embroidery and Decoration
The appearance of embroidery, printing, transfers, and other decoration can vary depending upon the fabric, garment construction, texture, size of the design, and other production factors.
Minor variations between individual pieces within an order are normal in custom apparel production and are not considered defects.
6. Customer-Supplied Merchandise
If Sew Awesome agrees to decorate merchandise supplied by the customer, the customer acknowledges that embroidery, printing, heat application, and other decoration processes involve inherent risks.
Although reasonable care will be taken, Sew Awesome is not responsible for manufacturer defects, hidden damage, fabric reactions, discoloration, shrinkage, or other problems with customer-supplied merchandise that are outside Sew Awesome's reasonable control.
If Sew Awesome damages customer-supplied merchandise due to an error by Sew Awesome, any remedy will be determined based upon the circumstances and applicable law.
7. Customer Artwork, Logos and Intellectual Property
By submitting artwork, logos, trademarks, photographs, names, designs, or other materials to Sew Awesome, the customer represents that the customer owns the material or has permission and legal authority to use and reproduce it. The customer authorizes Sew Awesome to reproduce the submitted material as necessary to complete the customer's order.
The customer is responsible for claims arising from materials supplied by the customer when the customer did not possess the necessary rights or authorization to use those materials.
Sew Awesome reserves the right to decline any artwork or order.
8. Pricing and Quotes
Prices are subject to change.
Quotes are based upon the specifications and quantities provided at the time of the quote. Changes to quantity, product, artwork, decoration, shipping, or other specifications may result in revised pricing.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, setup charges, artwork charges, rush charges, and other disclosed fees may be added to an order.
9. Payment
Online payments made through sew-awesome.com are processed using Stripe.
By submitting payment information, the customer authorizes the applicable payment to be processed for the order.
Stripe may collect and process payment and transaction information in accordance with its own terms and privacy practices.
Sew Awesome may require partial or full payment before merchandise is ordered or production begins.
Orders may be held until required payment and artwork approval have been received.
10. Production and Turnaround Times
Production and completion dates are estimates unless Sew Awesome expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Turnaround time may be affected by product availability, artwork approval, payment, shipping delays, equipment issues, supplier delays, unusually large orders, severe weather, and circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Sew Awesome will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed deadlines but does not guarantee delivery dates that are dependent upon third-party carriers or
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
11. Shipping and Delivery
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and delivery information.
Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside Sew Awesome's control.
Customers should promptly notify Sew Awesome of an apparent shipping problem so that we can assist in determining an appropriate resolution.
12. Returns and Claims
Problems with customized merchandise should be reported promptly after receipt of the order.
If Sew Awesome determines that merchandise contains a production error attributable to Sew Awesome or a qualifying defect, Sew Awesome may, as appropriate and subject to applicable law:
- Repair the item;
- Replace the affected item; or
- Provide an appropriate refund or credit.
Normal manufacturing tolerances and minor variations inherent in custom decoration are not considered defects.
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
13. Garment Sizes
Garment sizing may vary by brand and style.
Customers are responsible for selecting sizes and should consult available manufacturer sizing information before ordering.
Sew Awesome is not responsible for an incorrectly selected size when the product supplied matches the size ordered.
14. Care Instructions
Customers should follow garment and decoration care instructions.
Unless the particular product specifies otherwise, decorated apparel should generally be washed and cared for in a manner appropriate for the garment and decoration method.
Sew Awesome is not responsible for damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, bleaching, chemical exposure, or other improper care.
15. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, images, pricing, availability, and other information on sew-awesome.com accurate.
Occasional errors may occur. Sew Awesome reserves the right to correct errors or inaccuracies and, where permitted by law, cancel or modify an affected order.
If an order is canceled after payment because of such an error, amounts paid for the canceled merchandise will be refunded.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sew Awesome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
18. Changes to These Terms
Sew Awesome may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will become effective when posted on sew-awesome.com, unless otherwise stated.
The Terms in effect when an order is placed will generally govern that transaction.
